Drosera filiformis 'Red'
Known as the thread leaf sundew for a reason, this species can produce narrow needle shaped leaves over 20cm in length. Grows best in full sun as this brings out the best colour in the plant. Multiple colours exist of this species, this one is the red form.
This plant will go dormant during winter and form a hibernaculum, which is resting bud where the plant retreats into during winter. Less water is required during this time. Grear companion plant with American pitcher plants and venus fly traps.
First photo shows mother plant which have not reached potential full size. Remaining photos show example of plants for sale which are only just waking up. Plant will be sent in its pot.
Please note, in order to send when plant is larger during spring and summer, leaves may need to be cut down.
