The female used in this cross is a great parent as it is fast and easy to grow, as well as making many pitchers easily. Photo shows an upper pitcher, unfortunately do not have a good photo of the lowers, but is quite similar to N. maxima which is no surpise given it is 2/3 of the cross. Full name is N. (northiana x maxima) x maxima as N. mixta is the common name for northiana x maxima.
The male used is N. zakriana, which grows happily outside all year round on the Sunshine Coast. Thin, striped pitchers with an even thinner lid.
Seed looks good with solid embryos but can never guarantee germination.
This hybrid should grow well in intermediate conditions with a wide range.
Each pack will contain at least 20 decent seeds (2 pods worth). Please note that the packet WILL also have small undeveloped seed, which are not included in the listed seed count.
